"A Family Practice"

Our dental practice is truly a family practice. From the families we treat to our family of staff. My Father, Dr. Ken Buschel, moved his practice and young family from Montreal to Kelowna, in 1979. Ten years of practicing later, he established The Springfield Dental Centre, and over the next 5 years as the city expanded, so did the clinic, into what it is today.

In 1999, I had the opportunity to fulfill a longtime dream, to move back to Kelowna and work with my family, in the family business - the dental profession. Unfortunately, after 30 years of practice, 17 of which were here in Kelowna, my father passed away in 1996.  It has been an extraordinary experience and a privilege continuing the kind of care he provided to our family of patients.  Taking from his traditions and incorporating our own, we have established a highly effective, dedicated and compassionate team and environment to help you achieve the optimal oral health care for your needs.

The first member of the Springfield Dental Centre team that you will meet, is Heather Neid.  Heather is our treatment co-ordinator.  She will work with you on your scheduling and administrative needs.  Our office manager is another family member of mine, my mother Gloria Buschel.  A familiar voice for those returning to our practice from my father's practice.  We all would like to welcome you to the Springfield Dental Centre family.
