Crowns, Bridges, Inlays, & Onlays
- Numbness from anesthetic may last approximately 2-4 hours.
- Bite may need adjustment after numbness is gone. If so, please
call the office for an appointment. It should only take a few
moments to adjust.
- Avoid chewing on the new filling for the first day.
- Sensitivity to cold may last approximately 2 weeks.
- There should be no throbbing or constant pain.
- The tooth should feel smooth to the tongue.
- Brush and floss like a natural tooth.
- Floss under bridges with floss threaders or superfloss.
